Our approach

When it comes to sustainability and climate friendliness, it is the conventional approach to replace fossil fuel based raw materials with renewable ones and to make cultivation methods as environmentally friendly as possible. However, this approach still requires for raw materials to be produced, which means an investment of time, energy and money.

Green Drop takes a different approach. We focus on conserving resources, and reducing the need for newly acquired or cultivated raw materials. This can be achieved this through the more efficient use of left over raw material that arises from various coffee production processes. Our goal is to lead in the trend reversal away from “always new” towards a focus on the further processing and use of existing goods.

We are constantly breaking new ground and are looking for innovative and creative solutions for our partners. We strive for long-term partnerships on an equal footing, in which all sides can learn from and grow together. We act with agility and flexibility, but plan with foresight and for the long-term. This enables us to give our customers planning security and individual solutions in equal measure.

We look for new ways of using residues and show them to our partners. The focus on coffee oil, which is extracted from coffee grounds, is the first step. The core of our business idea is not to use any additional raw materials. As a result, our products do not compete with food production and the additional use of water, fuel, etc. is kept to an absolute minimum.

This enables us to offer our customers natural and climate-friendly products on favorable terms. We create new sources of income for our producers by recycling and upgrading residual materials.
